T&R Salon & Spa FAQ

What should I do to prepare before coming to my appointment?

For this appointment, there’s no need to do anything special beforehand. Please avoid washing your hair on the same day or the day before your appointment—we’ll take care of that for you. Just arrive on time, and we’ll handle the rest!

How many people can we accommodate at the same time?

At our salon, we offer a personalized and relaxing experience for up to two guests at the same time. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a head spa treatment solo or with a friend, we ensure top-quality care and comfort during your visit.

Is the Head Spa safe for expecting mothers?

Our Head Spa uses completely organic and natural ingredients; therefore, it is completely safe for pregnant customers. However, some guests may be concerned about being exposed to certain herbs and oils such as lavender while they are expecting. Therefore, it would be best to consult your doctor to see if there is anything you should avoid.

Another concern would be that we require guests to lay completely flat on your back during the whole duration of the service. If this is something you are unable to do, then it may be best to wait until after the delivery before trying the head spa.

Can you do a Head Spa for textured hair?

Our specialist is experienced with all types of hair from thin & fragile, thick & coarse, wavy, curly, porous, to even bald! However, the hair itself is not so much of a concern as we will be primarily focusing on the scalp during the Head Spa. At the end of the day, the Head Spa is a scalp treatment. If you have a scalp, we can give you a head spa. We only ask you to make sure that we have proper access to the scalp. We cannot perform services on customers with extensions, braids, or sew-ins as these obstruct access to the scalp and pores.

Will the Head Spa affect my hair color/keratin?

All our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair! However, if you had recently done any kind of chemical services within a week before your Head Spa appointment, there is a chance that the color/keratin may lift during our detoxing process. Therefore, we recommend customers to wait at least a week after any kind of hair treatment before receiving a Head Spa.
